Expecting over 300 healthcare professionals, healers, psychedelic practitioners, registered and unregistered guides and facilitators, knowledge keepers, caretakers, patients, and other enthusiasts, our audience represents a diverse tapestry of individuals committed to holistic well-being and cultural sensitivity.

2024 Theme: Growing Together: Rooted Wisdom, Nourishing Connection, Cultivating Action

Growing off of the 2022 PPF Theme of Shake the Tree, we are now acknowledging the three components needed to grow a healthy ecosystem: roots, nourishment and action towards growth.

In 2022, PPF organized a new “unconference the conference” format on our Practitioner Forum Days to service the wider community, with the intention to educate, empower, and resource folks about safe practices and treatment accessibility.

This year we continue on this received format to facilitate more learnings in group models to inspire conversation, connection & bring each of our attendees voices’ forward.

Through the years, PPF has been part of the evolution of this challenging field, alongside practitioners working, supporting, and training in the field. We are proud to be here, rooted, present, and in service to our communities.

PPF is pleased to facilitate continued learning and training, inclusivity, and cohesion, through our platform. We provide an opportunity for everyone interested in the field of psychedelic-assisted therapy and psychotherapy — including health providers, advocates, researchers, students, body workers, traditional and/or holistic therapists — to come together to learn, network, and dialogue about this field.

This year’s Conference Goals are:

1. Rooted Wisdom: Our aim is to delve into the rich history of psychedelic therapy and honour past teachings. By exploring the roots of this field, we seek to glean insights and wisdom that can inform our present practices and shape our future endeavours. Through this exploration, we hope to pay homage to the legacy of knowledge passed down through past generations and cultures, fostering a deeper understanding of the therapeutic potential of psychedelics.

2. Nourishing Connection: We aspire to create a space that welcomes individuals of all backgrounds, whether they are seasoned experts or newcomers to the field. By fostering a sense of connection and inclusivity, we aim to provide a platform for meaningful dialogue, collaboration, and learning. Our goal is to cultivate a supportive community where diverse voices are valued and respected, enriching the collective experience of all participants at the conference and beyond.

3. Cultivating Action: Our ultimate objective is to inspire action and integration beyond the conference. We seek to empower attendees to incorporate the teachings and insights gained during the event into their professional practices and personal lives. Through actionable initiatives and practical guidance, we aim to catalyze positive change and promote the widespread adoption of ethical and holistic approaches to psychedelic therapy.
